However since most of the people in this thread aren’t very used to colloquial english, is it a problem for you to write not in slang or contracted form ? (if it happens sometimes is not a problem, try your best.. It’s difficult also for me :D). I’m not scolding you :ahhhhh:

Next time try to use proper english.. Most of the people are not used to slang or contracted form (wanna, gonna, ‘n’, u, r etc..etc..). The Irish pub is also a place where to learn.. :icon_wink:

@Peppo when using “think” you should add “of” or “about” preceeding the object..
i.e. : 1- I was thinking about the other day.

instead of different you should have used difference. Indeed, there is a difference between as and like.
You should use “as” more likely for comparison sentences. i.e. He is as clever as me.
while for the same sentence you cannot use like. You could just say “He is like me” but in a more general way.

Since I’m not an english teacher I could have forgotten something. I suggest you to look up for more info in the website I provided previously. :asd:
